1. The Briliantina competition is promoted by Prima Toy and Leisure Trading (Pty) Ltd (“Promoter”).
2. The competition is open to children 5 years old and older. The upper age limit is restricted to 19 years old. Entry is free of charge.
3. Candidates under 18 years of age must provide proof of consent to participate from at least one parent (or guardian).
4. Participants in the competition must be registered with the Brili Club. The registration form, to be found on www.briliantina.com/za, must be completed accurately.
5. All participants in the competition may only enter on their own behalf. Violation of this condition may result in a participant being excluded from the competition.
6. Competition for the “Inspired by You” Briliantina winning ring project is divided into two categories.
The UNO category is for children 5 to 9 years. The EXCELENT category is for children 10 years and older.
7. Anyone can design their own ring and submit their design by uploading it to the Brili Club website.
8. The competition is limited to original designs by the participants. Any copied work or suggestions infringing on previous copyrights will not be considered.
9. Information about the start and close of the contest is available on the website www.briliantina.com/za.
10. From the designs submitted, five finalists from each category will be selected and placed on the site.
11. In selecting the finalists, consideration will be given to the viability of the design in terms of the ability to manufacture, safety and artistic design.
12. The decision of the selection panel will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. A public vote will be held on www.briliantina.com/za to decide on the prize winners from each of the two categories.
14. The public will be entitled to vote once per day.
15. The first, second and third places will be decided by the number of votes received.
16. The winners will be contacted by the promoter and will be required to complete an designer’s agreement.
17. Should the promoter not be able to make contact with the winners, or should a winner not wish to complete the agreement, the next highest number of votes will determine the winner and so on.
18. The names of the winners will be posted on the website at the conclusion of the voting and verification processes.
19. Briliantina will commence manufacture of the overall winning design within twenty-four months of signature of the designer’s agreement.
20. Briliantina reserves the exclusive right to tailor the design to suite its requirements. The winner shall have no right to consultation in the process.
21. Participants declare that they agree with the inclusion of their data in the promotional database.
22. The promoter will take all reasonable steps to ensure that a participants personal information remains confidential.
23. The winners agree to participate in any publicity as required by the promoter.
24. By entering the completion, each participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
25. The promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. The promoter does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or costs or claims suffered by the participants as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize or signature of the author’s agreement.
27. The promoter shall be entitled to suspend or terminate the competition if it is prevented from continuing with the competition due to circumstances beyond its control. In such case, the promoter will not be liable in any way to any participant.
28. The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be uploaded or delivered for any reason.
